Planning for Moving House

You can start packing up your things or getting boxes together. There are some stuff like books and pictures that may be packed in advance and will save you bother later on when the move gets closer.
You may need to book a little time of work, particularly if you do not think you are going to be able to prepare the move in a weekend. If you have services like milk deliveries, paper deliveries and so on you must have these cancelled. Before you leave, confirm all doors and windows are locked and appliances and applications are turned off.
